The Eurovision Song Contest is this weekend! It is in the city of Baku, in Azerbaijan. There are 26 countries in it.

In Eurovision, every pop group sings a song. Then, every country gives points to the groups. The group with the most points wins!

Look at the picture. These are two pop groups in Eurovision.

One is Jedward.

• They are from Ireland.
• Their names are John and Edward – so they are called ‘Jedward’!
• They are twins.
• They have silly hair!

The other is the Buranovo Grannies

• They are from Russia.
• They are between 50 and 75 years old.
• There are eight grannies in the group.

The entry for the UK is a singer. His name is Engelbert Humperdinck. Many times the UK sends bad singers to Eurovision. They do not do well. Will they do well this time?
